wolves are sociable creatures, living in packs.

  Reproduction:
a she-wolf can give birth to between 4 and 7 cubs.

Food:
wolves have tremendous stamina: they can pursue their prey for a whole day. Wolves are carnivorous and do not hesitate to attack large animals, but can also make do with rodents or even insects and berries.

  Habitat:
wolves are very adaptable creatures and can live in all kinds of environments.

In the Pyrenees:
wiped out by man, wolves had not been seen in the Pyrenees since the 1920s, but they appear to be making a comeback: some wolves have been spotted in the Spanish Basque country. If they cross the mountains from Spain, they could spread through the Pyrenees from the west.
