Cauterets is a village resort offering vast areas for all gliding sports at the Cirque du Lys (facilities for snowboarders, beginners, children etc.). Here you can choose your favourite sport and enjoy it at your own pace.

 
     

SKI RUNS
Downhill skiing. Altitude 1,400 - 2,400 m
25 blazed runs totalling 36 km. 5 green, 9 blue, 9 red, 2 black runs.
17 ski lifts - 2 snow guns - snow park - beginners' slopes - 2 ski schools - 3 high-altitude restaurants - Cable car shuttles.

Cross-country skiing at Pont d'Espagne. Altitude 1,400 - 1,800 m
8 km from the village of Cauterets, discover a well-preserved natural environment in the heart of the Pyrenean national park. A must for children, you can do cross-country or downhill skiing and go for walks with or without snowshoes in a superb environment. 36.5 km of pre-skied and regularly-maintained cross-country trails: 2 easy loops - 2 slightly more difficult loops.
Downhill skiing: 2 ski lifts for beginners - 1 chair lift: 2 black, 1 red, 1 blue run.
Walkers with or without snowshoes: specially-prepared blazed loop 6 km long.
2 ski schools - 2 restaurants
